810 Blogging Lab
What are the differences between traditional web pages and blogs? While both web pages and blogs can provide a reader with information, the information on a web page is more static versus the dynamic nature of a blog. With a blog, a writer can submit ideas, interject their thoughts and opinions, and invite feedback from readers (or followers). Comments on a blog can take on an autonomous life of their own and spawn fruitful discussions that the original author never planned for, thus opening the flood gates for dialogue. Many web pages offer comment sections as well, but a blog invites interaction and discussion. Blogs are more personal as one person is usually the main contributor. Whereas a traditional web page is more like a business and often has many people editing and contributing without the original author having having the same amount of interaction as with a blog.
